KMCT self-built the first 161kV power transfer station in Kaohsiung port

  KMCT applied green building standards to the main buildings, container yards and the terminal facilities by adopting state-of-the-art engineering methods and hi-tech equipment. We are aimed to become the green terminal with energy-saving, environmental protection and sustainability as enterprise’s core values.

  To pursue stable electrical power quality for the terminal usage, KMCT hired ABB Company as project contractor to build 161kV power transfer station at considerable financial cost. After two years of construction, we completed self-built 161kV power transfer station and start to run from March 26th, 2020. KMCT becomes the first container terminal equipped with 161kV power transfer station in Kaohsiung port.
