Marstal Maersk (18,000 TEU) Berthing at KMCT for Vessel Commissioning

  The 18,000 TEU mega ship “MARSTAL MAERSK” debuts at KMCT on February 24, 2020. At 399 meters in length and 59 meters in width, it called at KMCT for 48 hours for vessel commissioning.

  As a modern, high-tech terminal operator, KMCT operates four berths with a total length of 1,500 meters, a draft of 16.5 meters and is able to accommodate 18,000 TEU and even bigger vessels. KMCT is adjacent to the second channel of Kaohsiung Harbor and close by the turning basin, thus shortening the turning time and berthing time.
